MUSHROOMS

All but the Black Morels were found right here on m property. On Memorial Day, Hubby and I went on a search for landscaping rocks and wildflowers to transplant in our yard...we found black morels as well. When we returned home we started to look in our own little wooded area and were pleasantly surprised! Chinese elm makes a great surface for golden morels!

TheLOSS of Spring!

Friday April 25th, 2008...It fell out of the sky! Ruining the spring, covering the grass, freezing the birds...and it was no dream, but a living nightmare!!! The WINTER that will not die!!!

Spring is here

Last summer/fall I spent hours gaining the trust of a couple of silly chipmunks. They hid amongst the wood stacked by the garage and waited for the corn and sunflower seeds that I fed them. When the blustery days came in late fall, the chipmunks were gone. This morning they were at the 'back door' begging for attention and food! We will see 'full cheeks' once again!

Fairy Name

close to ancient monuments and stone
My fairy is called Pagan Goblinwand.
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She livescircles.
She is only seen when the seer holds a four-leafed clover.
She wears raven-black feathers.
She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.

My Special Order from BBest Member jnoriginals

When I saw the awesome work of JN Originals from the BBest on Esty.com, I just knew she could make the Pansy of my hearts' desire. This crocheted and felted Pansy is both a wall hanging and/or a table centerpiece. Right now it's on the wall over my shop entry door to bring good luck, just like a horse shoe...only this is SO MUCH PRETTIER!

Craft Fair Earring DISPLAY

Made from ordinary wooden embroidery hoops, with some black velvet (any color you choose) in the hoop...I used stretch velvet, this display for pierced earrings travels well and can be hung or leaned against a back drop. Make several in different sizes for your next craft fair.
